About the Author

My journey as a writer is rooted in a lifetime of reading, storytelling, and quiet observation.

I’ve spent most of my life in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, but have also lived in New Jersey and Arkansas.

I am an author, a homebuilder, a CPA, a golfer, and a pickleball player. More than any of these, I’m a child of God, fortunate to be a father, husband, son, uncle, brother, and more recently to my grandchildren, Bubs.

My first book, Fatherly Tales, was written for my children—an invaluable limited edition of five copies. It’s not for sale, but I am working on a 2nd edition for my grands.

My second book is an anthology of essays that I’ve written over the years. It can be found on Amazon. The title is A Good View of God. It’s not a book of theology, but rather my perspectives on life and places that heaven intersects with earth.

My first novel was published in October of 2026. It is called Seven Hills. It can also be found on Amazon.

I’m married to Karen Mason Taylor, and together we’ve raised three children: Lauren, Jenna, and Brandon. If I’m honest, everything I write is written with them in mind. They live in my heart and soul. Along with our six beautiful grandchildren.
